6.2.3. Standalone Control Mode (Turn-on Diagnostics)
In the standalone control mode (Legacy Mode), the turn-on diagnostic cycle can be started and the judgment of output to output short, speaker open, short to GND, short to VCC, and cross output connection can be performed by applying the voltage of 2.3 V or more to SCL pin (Pin 29), and switching the Stby pin (Pin 22) from Low to High (ON to OFF). If the diagnostic result detects abnormality, Low is output to the OFFSETDET pin (Pin 33). After reading the result, the OFFSETDET pin is reset and it shifts to the normal amplifier turn-on sequence by setting the SCL pin to Low as it is. However, if abnormalities are detected, please stop the operation from outside of the IC. Please perform the diagnosis two or more times because the diagnostic accuracy can be improved by repeating diagnoses. When two or more diagnoses are performed, the turn-on diagnostics is repeated by repeating the standby pin Low to High during setting the SCL pin to High. (Refer to Figure 6.2.) Turn-on Ripple diagnostic cycle 90 ms (typ.) Turn-on diagnostics released SCL Normal starting with SCL High to Low Stby Turn-on diagnostics starts when the Stby pin is set from Low to High, and SCL is equal to High. OFFSETDET (When detecting)
