LTM8053/LTM8053-1 40VIN, 3.5A Step-Down Silent Switcher µModule Regulator FEATURESDESCRIPTION n Complete Step-Down Switch Mode Power Supply The LTM®8053 is a 40VIN, 3.5A continuous, 6A peak step- n Low Noise Silent Switcher ® Architecture down µModule® (power module) regulator. Included in n Wide Input Voltage Range: 3.4V to 40V the package are the switching controller, power switches, n Wide Output Voltage Range: 0.97V to 15V inductor, and all support components. Operating over an n 3.5A Continuous Output Current at 12VIN, 5VOUT, input voltage range of 3.4V to 40V, the LTM8053/LTM8053- TA = 85°C 1 supports an output voltage range of 0.97V to 15V and a n 6A Peak Output Current switching frequency range of 200kHz to 3MHz, each set n Parallelable for Increased Output Current by a single resistor. Only the input and output filter capaci- n Selectable Switching Frequency: 200kHz to 3MHz tors are needed to finish the design.
